Catholic Scholarships

The following scholarships are awarded annually to Chanel College students and are kindly supported by the St Bride’s Old Girls’ Association and the St Joseph’s Old Boys’ Association.  Further information on these scholarships and the timeframe can be sourced from any Dean at Chanel College.

St Bride’s Old Girls’ Association Education Scholarship

The St Bride’s Old Girls Association Education Scholarship is for a Year 8 girl going into Year 9 at Chanel College; the scholarship is to the value of $400.00. 
Applicants apply for the scholarship by writing a letter that includes research on the Brigidine Congregation background, history, and ethos. 
Shortlisted applicants are interviewed by the St Bride’s Old Girls’ Committee, the Head of the Junior School and the Principal.  Following that process, a winner is chosen.

The 2021 St Brides Old Girls Association Scholarship is awarded to Madeline Penman.

St Joseph’s Scholarship

The St Joseph’s Scholarship is a College Scholarship awarded by the St Joseph’s Old Boys’ Association and is valued at $150.00 each year.  It goes to a Year 10 student to support their education in Years 11-13 while at Chanel College. 

The successful applicant must have achieved well academically and consistently demonstrates the special character values that we uphold at Chanel College.

 The 2021 St Joseph’s Scholarship is awarded to Jacob Siemonek.
