2023 has seen the start of our new Ag Academy.
A handful of our year 9 & 10 students get real life agricultural experience which allows them to have an in depth understanding of the industry before heading into their senior years.
Every Tuesday our group learn key skills and then apply them in practise on the MIS farm.
We’re very lucky to have Victoria and Shane from Te Pukenga, sharing their knowledge and leading this group.
We believe that every student should achieve their own personal excellence. As a school we must provide opportunities across a range of industries to cater to our students needs. So far feedback has been positive and we’re looking forward to seeing the progress these students make in the agricultural space
